Working Principle of UVC LED Surface Disinfection
UVC LED (ultraviolet C-type light-emitting diode) surface disinfection technology uses ultraviolet rays of a specific wavelength (usually in the range of 260-280nm) to destroy the DNA or RNA in microorganisms, thereby achieving the purpose of sterilization and disinfection.
DNA/RNA damage: UVC light can penetrate the cell wall of microorganisms and cause direct damage to the DNA or RNA inside them, forming pyrimidine dimers, preventing the normal replication of genetic material, causing the microorganisms to lose their reproductive ability or even die.
Immediate effect: Unlike chemical disinfectants, UVC disinfection is a physical process that can have a fatal effect on microorganisms in a short period of time.
